The Rise is another garden with a strong link to Himmah Foodbank. When the food bank moved premises in summer of 2024, there was a scruffy hilly strip of land outside the entrance that was crying out for a transformation.

We built 8 raised beds, paths and steps, and started to grow. Not only does it create a welcoming and vibrant first impression for foodbank users, but also provides valuable fresh food!
